The downtown shootings and street violence continued Saturday night in downtown Myrtle Beach. Memorial Day Weekend 2021 keeps the city’s historical pace as being one of the most violent holidays in the City of Myrtle Beach.

Two people were arrested after a shots fired report call came in around 9:30 p.m., near the intersection of Ocean Blvd and 27th Ave S.

One shooter claimed that a person was also firing a weapon at him.

Two people have been arrested and will be booked later in connection with this incident.

Officers are searching for evidence to corroborate one shooter’s claim that someone fired a weapon at him.

No one was injured in the incident, according to Master Cpl. Thomas Vest with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
