Virginia, of the ACC, out classed Coastal Carolina at home this past Saturday. The game was never in doubt. The previously undefeated Chanticleers became a 3 and 1 Coastal Carolina team at the onset by fumbling the opening kick in Virginia territory.

Coastal Carolina will have a home game against Old Dominion on Saturday, October 5th, after a week of rest. Old Dominion, who has not won a game this Fall, is expected to face a tough challenge against the heavily favored Chants.

The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns are scheduled to compete against Coastal at Brooks Stadium in Conway on October 19th. Presently, the Cajuns hold a 2-1 record and are set to face Wake Forest away on September 28th.
The first two weeks of November do not let up. Coastal faces Troy on November 2nd.
