Statistically speaking, almost seven percent of Myrtle Beach residents will suffer from depression this year. If you’re one of them, you should absolutely seek the help of your preferred medical professional, as clinical depression is imminently treatable in the vast majority of people.

1. Meditation

There have been numerous studies that show meditation can help to alleviate the symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression, and it’s not surprising since, when you meditate, you clear your mind, learn to ignore negative thoughts, and carve out a bit more headspace for yourself. When you sleep your body regulated itself, repairs itself, and gives you the breathing space you need to feel healthier and more refreshed in the morning. Can’t sleep? Ask your doctor for a prescription or try a natural remedy like lavender, chamomile, or CBD, which we discussed above.
