This exclusive recognition acknowledges charter operators for their exceptional customer service, reliability, and quality of fishing trips. Notably, some captains demonstrate consistent excellence across multiple seasons.
This is the first time that special recognition is given to guides who have won the award three times in a row.
Out of 7,242 captains who partner with FishingBooker, only 576, or 8%, were recognized for their excellence 3 times – and 9 of them run their trips from the Myrtle Beach Area Grand Strand! In fact, Grand Strand Fishing Charters and their captains are often the primary reason tourists visit Myrtle Beach.
What’s more, is that 12.3% of all captains in Grand Strand on FishingBooker got this special annual Angler’s Choice recognition – 9 out of 73. This showcases the outstanding performance of these captains, placing them well above the national average.

To be eligible for the award, the charter operators had to meet the following criteria over the past 12 months:
- 4.8+ out of 5-star review rating from 10+ verified reviews
- 98% reliability score and response rate
- Full business verification
With the soon launch of our Roku channel, MyrtleBeachSC hopes to feature some of these Grand Strand Fishing Charters and their captains.
