93% Of Locals – 78% Of Tourists Oppose Barricades On Ocean Boulevard

At 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 27th, Myrtle Beach City Council will allow public comments from locals who both support and oppose the barricades.  MyrtleBeachSC.com asks all interested to attend and speak.

In polls, which are still ongoing, across Facebook on 6 different Facebook pages and the OUR PLACE Locals Facebook Page, 93% of local residents, merchants, and property owners in the Myrtle Beach area oppose putting barricades back on Ocean Boulevard again this Summer 2018.

78% of tourists polled were also against the barricades.
