After a structure fire at the Noel Court on 308 6th Ave. N in Myrtle Beach on March 30, 2020, the building was razed this week. Two buildings of the Noel Court were damaged.

The Noel Court and Apartments is significant for its association with the evolution of tourist lodging in Myrtle Beach from the 1930s to the 1960s.

This dated structure located along Flagg Street had fallen into disrepair.

The area is now known for crime and homelessness.

This is a positive change for Myrtle Beach as the landscape continues to slowly evolve.
