Vice President Mike Pence will be in Myrtle Beach this Saturday for what is expected to be a massive campaign event for Henry McMaster.  Insiders with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and local Team Horry delegates hit the panic button after witnessing a huge surge for Warren in the South Carolina and, expecially, Horry County polls.  McMaster and Pence will campaign alongside one another in Myrtle Beach.

Horry County is critical in this Governor’s race.  Pundits forecast that the candidate who carries Horry County will most likely be S.C.’s next Governor.

On Monday, one day before the election, President Donald Trump will campaign in Columbia, S.C. with McMaster.

McMaster already enjoys the full weight and support of the entire Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce insiders’ coalition.  Recent polls, however, showed this was not enough to get the current governor re-elected.

McMaster is an aristocratic Old South politician. He is the first sitting S.C. Governor in the modern era to face a challenger in a run off.  Data and polling also indicated his high profile, negative TV and Facebook ads against Warren were not working.

The run off is June 26th.   Warren and McMaster will get one direct shot at each other tonight during a televised debate from the Newberry Opera House.  The debate can be seen live on SC ETV networks.
