The 3 Myrtle Beach area winners of the Angler’s Choice 2026 are:

• Perry Hughes — Good Times Fishing Co. (North Myrtle Beach)
The award was first presented in 2015, and it received a considerable update in 2022. In order to also give a fair chance to captains in areas that don’t boast year-round fishing, the Angler’s Choice Award has been awarded every 3 months since then.
Once a year, however, the platform’s top captains receive special recognition. These captains have been working hard to consistently provide the best possible fishing experience for their guests year-round and have earned the Award four quarters in a row.
Out of 9,463 captains from all across the world, 791 received the 2026 Annual Angler’s Choice Award, or 8.3% of all captains on FishingBooker.

Earning this recognition is no small feat — it reflects consistent excellence across every aspect of the customer experience. To qualify, captains must maintain the following standards across four consecutive quarters:
