Tonight’s debate between Henry McMaster and John Warren was televised by the S.C. ETV network.

For those who missed the debate,  you can see it below.  During the debate, candidate John Warren went after Governor McMaster for his close ties to Florence, S.C. Senator Hugh Leatherman and local delegate cronies in the state capital.   Warren also mentioned that McMaster endorsed S.C. Senator Lindsay Graham, before McMaster later supported President Donald Trump.

McMaster stated that he does at times agree with Leatherman.  When he is right, McMaster added.  McMaster would not comment on his early support for Graham, however, the record is clear that Senator Lindsay Graham was McMaster’s first choice for President.

As for President Trump,  as we first reported on June 20th,  Mike Pence will be in Myrtle Beach this Saturday campaigning with McMaster.  McMaster needs a win in Horry County to carry the state.  President Trump will campaign with McMaster in Columbia, S.C. on Monday.

Meanwhile, Joshua Putnam put up video today, showing Pamala Evette berating him for supporting John Warren.  Putnam was a candidate for S.C. Secretary of State and is a rising star in S.C. politics.  Putnam says Evette followed him and his wife for  several blocks before accosting them on a street corner.  While there is no audio, the pictures speak for themselves.

Evette is McMaster’s running mate and will be Lt. Governor should McMaster win the primary this June 26th and the general election this coming November.

Despite efforts to play down the issues,  McMaster continues to be haunted by his associations with Lindsay Graham, Senator Luke Rankin, Hugh Leatherman and their former collective political consultant Richard Quinn Sr.  who plead guilty last December and turned state’s evidence to avoid jail time.
