A Florence, S.C. man, Jamario Stevenson, 23, faces four criminal charges: attempted murder, unlawful carrying of a pistol, unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The shooting happened in front of Hi-Fi Coffee Bar on 918 N. Ocean Boulevard on Sept. 6th, Myrtle Beach Police report records show.

The shooting was caught on City of Myrtle Beach cameras.

Stevenson pulled a handgun from a bag and began shooting at a man crossing the street, the report indicates.

Stevenson is booked at J. Rueben Long Detention Center as of Tuesday, October 12th.

In a related report, published by MyrtleBeachSC News today, murders were up four times above previous year’s during the Summer 2021 peak season.
