The Myrtle Beach Police Department reports that officers were called to the area of 3rd Ave N and Cedar St around 8:40 p.m. June 5th in regards to gunshots being fired in the area.

MBPD is one high alert as the city is booked to full occupancy. As we reported earlier, scores of graduating senior “hundred milers” are now vacationing in the town.

No injuries were reported. Officials with MBPD, however, say officers have located damage to a vehicle.
