CCU Staff Kaitlan Nash and Kyle Malanowski are yet the two latest liberal University Staff to mock the Charlie Kirk Assassination.
After U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace posted on X, “We know Charlie Kirk would want us to pray for such an evil and lost individual….” Kyle Malanowski responded, “No surprises there – especially from this 2 faced c*nt. But with how much she loves throwing slurs on the congress floor, she might not be too far behind.

Kyle Malanowski’s Role in the Coastal Carolina University Community
Kyle Malanowski works at Coastal Carolina University as a Public Safety Dispatcher.
Kyle Malanowski was not alone in his comments, however.
Kaitlan Nash, Graduate Program Manager at Coastal’s Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences posted, “The controversy isn’t about being “Politically Incorrect”, Having a difference of opinion, or “Preaching the Gospel. It is about repeating bigoted ideas on a stage that reached tens of millions.”
We reached out to Kaitlan Nash by email for her comments. As of publication, she has not responded.
Coastal Carolina’s Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences was founded by Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Spadoni Bethune’s father Spud Spadoni. Mayor Brenda Bethune is one of its largest annual donors.
Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Bethune has already addressed the rights of transgender transitioning surgery for children. She supports it.
Said Bethune, “[Transgendering Children] is about having empathy and respect for others. That’s how we get equity, diversity and inclusion. “It’s not just about race. It’s about sexual preferences. It’s about if a child decides they want to be a male or a female. It’s about loving everyone.”
The Bethune Administration gifted million for capital costs plus 5 years of free rent to Coastal Carolina University for a downtown Myrtle Beach theatre. Experts put the annual operations and maintenance cost to be between $200,000 to $250,000 each year. All of these costs are paid for by City of Myrtle Beach taxpayers.
We reached out to Myrtle Beach Mayor Bethune, asking if she would denounce these comments and call on Coastal Carolina University to terminate these two Coastal Carolina Employees. Mayor Bethune went silent.
We also reached out to Coastal Carolina President James J. Winebrake asking him the same. Winebrake sent us to Coastal Carolina’s Public Information Officer.
The department responded: Coastal Carolina University has received reports of social media content posted by University employees and individuals not employed by the University. Based on these reports and in accordance with applicable University policy, one employee has been dismissed, effective immediately, and another has been suspended without pay, pending further review. No additional details are available at this time, as these are personnel matters.
CCU is committed to upholding our institutional values as we continue to pursue our core mission of supporting student success with the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
S.C. Freedom Caucus Founder Adam Morgan and U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace called on Winebrake to respond. Morgan asked that Kaitlan Nash and Kyle Malanowski be fired.
