Ads placed by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber’s outside marketing firm, Miller Direct, with TV Station WPDE have come into question over the past 10 days.
The owner of Miller Direct, Jackie Michaels Miller, responded to our article yesterday, “McGinnis Ad Buy Directly Connected To Myrtle Beach Area Chamber” in the comments section of that article. The article was written by Paul Gable, of the Grand Strand Daily, who informed MyrtleBeachSC.com that he reached out to Mrs. Miller when he was researching the story. She never responded.

This file below, was uploaded by WPDE yesterday with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s name simply clipped.
As such, MyrtleBeachSC.com has handed all documents over to the FBI and FEC.
It is a rare moment when government agencies hold powerful, quasi government-esque “not for profits”, like the Clinton Foundation or the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce accountable.
Voters and readers do have a right to be informed, however.
