Oddsmakers have set the Coastal Carolina Football predictions 2024 with CCU finishing behind App. State and James Madison. CCU is picked to finish third in their division this Fall.
Coastal has four intriguing non-conference games to start the 2024 season. Those include Jacksonville State ( a tough defensive run test for the Chanticleers), a 6 and 5 William and Mary team that is slightly improved, at Temple, and home to Virginia. With the Chants’ current roster the oddsmakers are calling this a two and two start.
Coastal Carolina Football predictions 2024
James Madison dominated Coastal 56-14 in last year’s finale. The Chants go to James Madison this Fall, but that team lost their coaching staff and more than half their roster. Louisiana is in a pivotal season for their Head Coach. The Louisiana head coach is on the hot seat which makes it a tricky home game for Coastal. Troy won 23 games the past two seasons, but like James Madison, massive staff and player changes are in place at Troy.
A rested Coastal Carolina team could steal a win at Troy.
Coastal’s overall Sun Belt schedule is tougher, as Appalachian State is next, followed by a game at Marshall, and a home game versus Georgia Southern.
The 2024 finale is at Georgia State. Oddsmakers have CCU finishing third in their division with a seven and five record.
