Colonial Pipeline announced the restart of pipeline operations as of about 5 p.m. Eastern time today (May 12th).

But the company said it will take several days for the “product delivery supply chain to return to normal.”

Late Tuesday Colonial Pipeline disclosed that it had delivered about 967,000 barrels to various markets, including Atlanta, Charlotte and Baltimore.

All areas can now be served. However, deliveries could take as long at perhaps 5 to 10 days.

The pipeline was shut down by a Russian Cyber Attack. MyrtleBeachSC News first reported that last Saturday.

The shutdown caused pump shortages which may continue a few days more.
