During covid, this helped increase voter turnout and caused many problems concerning election integrity.

Voter fraud, using this system has largely been tied to the Democratic party in swing vote areas that include Atlanta, Wisconsin, Arizona, and North Carolina.

The largest Democrat party operative in Horry County is the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. Candidates favored by this organization run as Republicans, however.
