County Council drops gun discharge ban ordinance

Horry County Council witnessed one contentious resident escorted out of chambers by county police last night as issues stirred around a controversial gun discharge ban ordinance.

The ordinance was drafted by Horry County Councilman Dennis DeSibato.

“I’m Fired Up” broadcaster Chad Caton spoke, asking Horry County Council to please respect the 2nd Amendment rights of residents.

He was followed by Horry County resident James Milward, who went off on both council and the packed house in attendance demanding the ordinance be passed. Mr. Milward was then escorted from the podium and off the property by Horry County police. Readers can hear Mr. Milward’s comments in the video below.
