Politics and compassion merge on Tuesday December 6th, as Republicans and Democrats reach across the aisle in support of children in foster care at Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.

A free barbecue buffet will be provided for all attending starting at 6 p.m. at Simply Southern Smokehouse located at 1913 Mr. Joe White Ave, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

The event will run until 8 p.m.

BRING A FREE UNWRAPPED TOY

The meal is free for all who attend. If you plan to attend, the host asks that you bring a free unwrapped toy. Toys will be given to the foster children at Connie Maxwell on Christmas Day.

A DELIGHT FOR POLITICAL JUNKIES OF ALL TYPES

Democrats and Republicans will equally enjoy the evening.

Guest speakers include Democrat Solicitor David Pascoe of S.C.’s First Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Pascoe is widely known for his work in diminishing the influence of the S.C. political campaign crime family (Richard Quinn and Son) known as the Quinndom.

Pascoe is also known for his efforts in prosecuting legislative corruption at the S.C. State House.

Republican Solicitor Kevin Brackett

Under the leadership of Solicitor Kevin Brackett, (Rock Hill area) the Sixteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office prosecutes criminal offenses in York and Union Counties in South Carolina.

Brackett manages a team of lawyers and support staff who prosecute all General Sessions, some magistrate-level, and juvenile criminal offenses. Intertwined with this work, the office offers assistance to victims of crime and provides pre-trial and diversion programs to help offenders become positive contributors to the community.
