Democrats and their media collaborators always distort GOP policy by resorting to histrionics and “we hate Trump.”  Their entire platform is one big con job; from “Russia, Russia, Russia” to the 51 senior intelligence offices that said Hunter Biden’s laptop was a fake.

Understanding the Impact of Democrats on American Values

In a recent Gallop poll 92% of Republicans but only 36% of Democrats said they are proud to be  an American. Let that sink in. That explains why Democrats side with Palestine over Isreal, and why they support Iran even though its ruling class chants “Death to America” and call for our destruction.

Democrats are praying that the tariffs  crash the stock market  but the Dow, the S&P 500, and the Nasdaq closed at record highs on July Fourth.

Let’s highlight  Trumps victories in the past  weeks alone: He destroyed Iran’s nuclear program without dragging us in to another war; SCOTUS ruled that Trump has the power to deport ILLEGAL aliens to other counties; SCOTUS ruled that lower courts cannot impose national injunctions; NATO member states agreed to commit 5% of their GDP to defense; Canada scrapped a digital service tax; Paramount agreed to finance Trump’s future presidential library over their selective editing  of the Harris interview on 60 minutes; a recent jobs report exceeded expectations; a trade deal was struck  with Vietnam; Congress passed the Big Beautiful Bill.

Here is the truth about the Big Beautiful Bill that Democrats ignore: Medicaid spending has risen by 60% since 2019, and the signed bill will  bend Medicaid’s trajectory closer to solvency  (source – Potomac Watch). Democrats have falsely alleged that pregnant women in poverty and disabled children will suffer, but Republicans are trying to address the negative impacts of Obama Care’s expansion to prime-age adults above the poverty line. Those who might lose coverage should not have had it to begin with.

The CBO wrote a letter last month about the House bill, saying that 4.8 million people will not comply with the bill’s part-time work requirement. That should be a warning about the country’s social condition. The work requirement does not apply to anyone who is disabled, pregnant or caring for a child younger than age 14, volunteering 20 hours a week or enrolled in school. Anyone who really needs  Medicaid can get it.

Don’t buy into the Democrat’s talking point that the working poor will be lost in red tape as they try to prove they are employed. The states have handled work requirements in food stamps and cash assistance for decades.

The Foundation for Government Accountability noted that after Arkansas experimented with work requirements in Medicaid, “enrollees only had to report to work once, and it was easy to do so.” People could merely attest to employment  online or via  a hot line. The Democrat position is that Medicaid should be a free universal benefit for people who refuse to work with no strings attached. The Big Beautiful Bill will tamp down on state-level scams, the main losers will be large hospital systems that have taken advantage of the system for years.

The bill also includes sensible measures such as asking states to check their Medicaid expansion rolls every six months and more scrutiny over Obama Care subsidies. This is necessary because the Biden Administration waived millions onto health entitlements.  The Paragon Institute estimates that 6.4 million people are enrolled in fully subsidized Obama Care plans but don’t meet the eligibility criteria. This is what Democrat’s support.

The bill’s changes to food stamps are also modest and rooted in the tenet that work is central to upward mobility. As a refresher, the program currently requires able-bodied adults without dependents to work about 20 hours a week—or lose benefits after three months. That 90-day dispensation allows those who suffer a setback time to get back on their feet. Currently, a quarter of all Americans are on Medicaid not to mention the illegal aliens. Remember this is the land of opportunity. It is not supposed to be a land of handouts.
