If Senator Lindsey Graham and other RINO senators had voted in favor, DOGE cuts could have been legally codified into law. However, Graham and his Republican colleagues chose not to do this.
Unless the DOGE cuts are codified into law the next Democrat president can sign an executive order eliminating them entirely.
