Incumbent Tom Rice was dealt a humiliating defeat.

Over 80% of conservatives in Dillon County voted for Fry.
As so many candidates were competing, politicos forecasted a runoff in this 7th District Congressional race. Fry exceeded those expectations winning outright with 51% of the vote last night.
