On July 20, Serenity Evans, from Lawrenceville, GA drowned in the deep end of a pool at the Links of Thomas Avenue in North Myrtle Beach. Her father and sister were with her.

She was rushed to the hospital where she remained on life support.

Several days before her death at the hospital on July 23rd, Evans’ father pulled her from the pool and performed CPR.

A family trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was giving her the “time of her life,” her mother said.

An off-duty paramedic began performing CPR while awaiting an ambulance after Serenity’s father saw her drowning.
