Upstate activist Pressley Stutts died today after an extended battle fighting Covid 19. He was 64 years old.
Stutts is recently best known for his work in establishing and growing MYSCGOP.
This group, emanating from Greenville, made a state-wide effort this past Spring to supplant the SCGOP, led by Drew McKissick.
MySCGOP even managed to take control of the Horry County Republican Party, placing three relatively unknowns in the area into power.
Stutts, along with his partner Jeff Davis, also ran the Rock The Red Convention held annually in Greenville.
