Horry County leaders reached out to MyrtleBeachSC News mourning the murder of Charlie Kirk.
In a press release among Horry County leaders, Reese Boyd III, Chairman HCGOP, said, “We call on all Republicans and Americans of all political belief to pray for Charlie Kirk’s family.“
Said Horry County Leaders of the Little River Patriots through, Dave Silva, President, “I’m devastated. I’m furious. But I’m also inspired. Because this isn’t just a tragedy—it’s a Turning Point. Evil thought it could win today. Instead, it inspired an even bigger movement.“
The movement known as “I am Charlie Kirk” has officially started in Myrtle Beach.
The September 11th Memorial Service at Journey Church held by the HCGOP tonight will honor a moment of silence for the life of Charlie Kirk.
Journey Church is located at 3690 Palmetto Pointe Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. The service begins at 6 p.m.

Family, Friends, Christians, and Patriots—
I can hardly put words to the anger and heartbreak I feel right now. Charlie Kirk was gunned down today—shot in the neck, in cold blood—while standing on a college stage doing what he always did: speaking truth, challenging lies, and calling a generation to wake up.
It’s not lost on me that this was titled a College Comeback Tour. That title in itself terrifies the left. They knew he would continue to influence young people & voters. That had to be stopped. This was a well planned assassination.
Maria & I were Blessed to be able to see him a couple of weeks ago in North Myrtle Beach. He spoke with compassion, joy and wisdom far beyond his short 31 years.
They thought they could shut him up with a bullet. But here’s the truth—they didn’t silence him. They only multiplied his voice.
Today, thousands—no, hundreds of thousands—of Charlies were born. His message is alive in us now, louder and stronger than ever.

To Christians—don’t let fear win.
For God & Country
Jesus told us the world would hate us, but He’s already overcome it. And now, Charlie is with his Lord and Savior, hearing the words every believer longs to hear: “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord” (Matthew 25:23).
To patriots—don’t shrink back. Now’s the time to step up.
To the cowards who planned and carried this out—you made the worst mistake of your life.
You thought one bullet could kill a movement. Instead, you lit a fire you’ll never put out.
Charlie’s voice was taken from us, but his fight lives on in all of us.
And we’re not going anywhere.
