The Horry County Republican Women’s Club met today at the Asher Theatre on Waccamaw Boulevard just off Highway 501 near Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The group now stands at 165 members strong, making it the most influential political force on the Grand Strand.
The group’s positive message is centered around their approach to grow a big tent Republican Party where all feel welcome.
An “All American” cake was prepared for those in attendance. The crowd was so large, however, the cake was first come, first served.
Said Shannon Montgomery Grady, “Our purpose is to do everything we can do to keep our county, our state, and eventually our country red”….
“And doing that means that we have to go out and register voters. So we are working very hard. We have set a very ambitious goal of registering 20,000 new republicans over the course of the next year,” Grady added
The group’s positive, inclusive message is clearly catching traction with Horry County residents.
