The Horry County Republican Women’s Club christened their new facility today. The new headquarters is located in the former Waccamaw Pottery at the office just East of the Asher Theatre.
A who’s who name of local politicians attended including S.C. House Rep. Tim McGinnis, U.S. Congressional Candidate Ken Richardson, former Myrtle Beach Mayor Mark McBride, S.C. House Representative Russell Fry, among several others.
A chili cookoff contest was held with Tim McGinnis of Famous Toastery winning first prize.
The Horry County Republican Women’s Club is the fastest growing republican group in the county. The group currently has 250 members.
The group anticipates growing the Republican Party by 2,000 newly registered voters by May 2022.
