The Horry County Council Chairman elect’s victory party was a wonderful mix of long-standing Horry County residents and newly re-located locals. West of the waterway, Johnny Gardner is a huge success. He did surprisingly well with voters along the coast also.
The band played songs like Go, Go Johnny Go Go Go and the crowd responded. As always, Chairman-Elect Gardner was gracious in his public address to those in attendance.
We were there until just before the event ended. We never spotted Horry County Council incumbents Harold Worley, Dennis DiSabato, Gary Loftus, Tyler Servant, Cam Crawford, Harold Phillips, Johnny Vaught, W. Paul Prince, Danny Hardee, Bill Howard, or Al Allen.
As this is their incoming, newly elected chairman, we were surprised not one showed up to congratulate Johnny on his positive and effectively run campaign.
