A perfect student is a person who is studying well, and visiting all the classes. The one who attends all college events with a significant role in the organization. The student is independent, creative, and open-minded. It is a person who likes to be challenged, the one with the huge potential and desire to grow. He is a reliable mate and is very independent. This is a picture of the perfect student. But does such a student really exist? How can one become like this? And how is it possible to become a student like Jackie Robinson?

Jack’s path and a lifetime

Jackie Robinson is an American baseball player who became popular after becoming the first African-American to play in MLB (Major League Baseball). During his career in the mentioned league, he received various awards like The Rookie of the Year Award, the National League Most Valuable Player Award, and many more. Robinson started his education at John Muir High School, moving to Pasadena Junior college and further to UCLA (the University of California located in Los Angeles). Jack was an honorable student each institution desired to have. UCLA is one example. Back in the time, it was a prestigious university where it was almost impossible to enroll. However, it was privileged to accept a student like Jackie Robinson for studying. As a result, he was selected as Most Valuable Player many times at each institution which underlines how passionate Jack was about what he does. He studied hard and did the best he could to represent the high school/college/university and fit it to gain glory through him.

What made Jackie Robinson great

Jack was an extremely talented and active student. Not only did he play various sports, but also succeeded in his studies. His path started back in college and it is fascinating how college time influenced the life of the person who later became popular worldwide. More similar discussions you can find in a big database of essays about Jackie Robinson to find out more about his life and achievements. It is very mysterious to explore how one person can win so many battles by highlighting uniqueness and individuality. Back then Jackie was not only the example of the student class-wise but also played a number of different sports. Baseball was the one that got him popular and he truly adored, however in addition he also played basketball, track, and football. Jackie was eager to develop himself and not be dedicated to one way only. He was curious about life, willing to inspect every inch of life to get the most of it. And this is exactly what made him great.

A perfect student

When we talk about a perfect student, what do we expect of it? The significant characteristic here is curiosity. This is what drives a person to explore the new edges, new professions, and even themselves. The curious student is the one who always asks questions. The one that wants to get deeper into the details to get the true color of the matter.  In addition, a perfect student should be open-minded. How important it truly is to be able to accept everything that is going on around you and have your heart open to accept it. With that, it is extremely helpful to explore life and grow by finding out something new every day. Another feature would be consistency. You can be proactive and smart, but without consistency, unfortunately, it makes it impossible to achieve anything. Sometimes it is crucial to sit with the homework for a couple of hours, to do the training and that would be the way to accomplish something, even though it is not the easy one.

Another one here would be proactivity. It is a must to act! College is the best time to inspect what you can do. This is the time when a student has the maximum support and power to understand their true passion and choose the exact life they want to have. It is a life-changing moment you need to recognize and be proactive to use to your own benefit.

So why is Jack Robinson a perfect example for every student? Sometimes it is very challenging to be proactive in college. You might be willing to play sports, and attend various sections, but on the other hand – also combine it with your studies and not be expelled. Not every professor finds it valuable for students to invest time in after-class sections. However, this is a key to growth. College is a great time to understand what you really like. What you really want. And how can one do it by staying locked with the homework? There is no way. This is exactly why it is important to be an activist in college like Jack – this is the way to find your true passion and succeed.
