Supporting Make-A-Wish: A Community Effort
The day will begin with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Golfers will enjoy a Captain’s Choice format, with raffles, hole contests, challenges and more – all while supporting the wish-granting mission of Make-A-Wish South Carolina.
Proceeds from the tournament will help grant life-changing wishes for local children facing critical illnesses throughout South Carolina. Sponsorships and player registration are now available.
“We are incredibly proud of how far this tournament has come since its start in 2020,” said Chris Lovorn, Board Secretary and Treasurer of the Myrtlewood Seniors Men’s Golf Association and Make-A-Wish South Carolina Board Member. “Expanding to both courses and welcoming HTC as our Presenting Sponsor is a testament to the community’s passion for giving back. Together, we’re helping make wishes come true for children facing some of life’s toughest challenges.”
HTC, the nation’s largest telecommunications cooperative, has a long history of charitable giving and civic involvement.
“HTC is proud to serve as the presenting sponsor for the Myrtlewood Golf Tournament,” said Sandy Hendrick, HTC Marketing Manager. “Supporting Make-A-Wish South Carolina aligns with our mission to uplift families and bring hope to children right here in our communities. We’re honored to stand behind such a meaningful cause.”
