UPDATE: Per Merideth Denari, City of Myrtle Beach Public Information Officer, The updated plans for the proposed Marketwalk project in The Market Common include 189 units (townhomes and cottages), a Starbucks coffee shop, swimming pool, clubhouse and 413 residential parking spaces.
An informational meeting will be hosted by the real estate developer, HomeFed, this coming Thursday.
The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m., Thursday, September 5, at the General Robert Reed Recreation Center, 800 Gabreski Lane.
The meeting will provide an overview of the proposed Marketwalk multifamily project in The Market Common. Project Manager, Walter Warren, and HomeFed representatives will discuss project plans and answer questions from the public.
The proposed Marketwalk project will replace plans for a hotel at the corner of Farrow Parkway and Phillis Boulevard. The Marketwalk project includes 203 residential units (105 residential cottages, 98 townhomes), a swimming pool, clubhouse and 443 new parking spaces.
