A quorum of Myrtle Beach City Council members will be present for a part of Mayor Brenda Bethune’s private dinner for elected leaders tonight, Thursday, August 22.
Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Bethune will host a “Taste of Downtown” progressive dinner for South Carolina state legislators and local elected officials from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, August 22.
The private dinner will feature various restaurants in the city of Myrtle Beach’s Arts & Innovation District.
Invitation-only attendees will have appetizers at Grand Strand Brewing Company, dinner at Winna’s Kitchen and dessert at The Tasting Room on Ninth.
S.C. state law requires Mayor Bethune to make this information public because a quorum of Myrtle Beach City Council members will be present for appetizers at Grand Strand Brewing Company.
There is no city council agenda and no votes will be taken. This private event is not paid for or sponsored by the City of Myrtle Beach.
