A group of long standing and multi-generational Myrtle Beach merchants announced last week that they are launching the Myrtle Beach Jewish Chamber of Commerce. Businesswoman, Michelle Cohen, made the announcement to Mayor Bethune and Myrtle Beach City Council.
Highly regarded downtown business leader, Tuvia Wilkes, likes the idea. Said Wilkes, “The Jewish community has a long history of outreach. Whenever the Jewish community is blessed, history shows that those who bless us, are blessed as well. I look forward to becoming a member of this Chamber. I also look forward to seeing the positive impact this chamber is sure to make on the entire Myrtle Beach area.”
