With the summer season closing, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach leaders have launched their Fall Festival events schedule. The highlight of every year is the must see venue of Thompson Farms.
Fall Festival Events
Sept 21st and 22nd 10 am to 6 pm Thompson Farms will officially be kicking off their 16th anniversary Fall Festival events season. Events on those days include a Family Play area, animal feedings, corn maze, and more!
September 14th at Thompson Farm at Brickyard Plantation presents the 3rd Annual Taste of the Maze Event from 5 pm to 9 pm. It is an adult night out on the farm like no other! Explore their 2024 Corn Maze while you sample a variety of beer and wine!
Brookgreen Gardens hosts Harvest Home Fall Festival events Weekend Saturday, Oct 5th from 9:30 am – 4 pm and Sunday, October 6th from 9:30 am – 4 pm

Septemberfest & Duplin Winery Grape Stomp, September 21, 2024
A celebration of harvest and wine, featuring festive activities for all ages, live music and grape stomping at Barefoot Landing’s Dockside Village.
Crooktoberfest, September-October, 2024
Stop by the Crooked Hammock Brewery where beer drinkers, family-funsters and foodies can enjoy new brews, Bavarian-themed decor, Oktoberfest beer trivia, live Polka music, a Kinder Craft Table for kiddos to make their very own Alpine Hats, a German-inspired menu and more Fall Festival events.
Irish Italian International Festival, September 28, 2024
Live entertainment, craft vendors, and delicious international foods draw thousands to Main Street to celebrate Irish and Italian cultures. The spaghetti eating contest is a crowd favorite.
Oktoberfest, October 5, 2024
German- and fall-themed food and drinks, special discounts, live music and a Weiner Dog contest at Barefoot Landing.
Little River Shrimp Fest, October 12-13, 2024
Fresh shrimp and local seafood are served along the nearby Little River waterfront with live music and over 100 vendors.
Signature Holiday Events
Dashing Through The Glow, November 22 & 23, 2024
Be one of the first to see the lights during this two-mile non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show. Get in the spirit and wear a holiday-themed outfit. Prizes will be given for best-dressed individual and best-dressed family. The walk/run will end at Santa’s Village, where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and check out some of the activities. This run/walk will be on the course for the Great Christmas Light Show at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex.
Great Christmas Light Show, November–December, 2024
This two-mile drive-through light show, taking place at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex, features over two million lights on 500 displays. Stop by Santa’s Village for hot chocolate and a visit with Santa himself. The displays include 30 animated figures and holiday scenes that magically come to life, as well as a rockin’ musical section synced to the sounds of the season.
Intracoastal Christmas Regatta, November–December 2024
Holiday fun begins with the Intracoastal Christmas Regatta as it launches from Little River Inlet and travels south to North Myrtle Beach.
North Pole Express Cruise, December 2024
Enjoy an evening of Christmas magic onboard the Barefoot Queen Riverboat. Cruise includes The Polar Express story, your very own Believe ticket, a surprise Santa visit with a special delivery and a variety of Christmas snacks and hot chocolate. Guests can also make a take home bag of reindeer food with Santa after the cruise to feed Rudolph and all his friends on Christmas Eve.
North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade, December 7, 2024
