Yesterday Myrtle-Beach.com, LLC (DBA MyrtleBeachSC News) published that on March 17, a new striper franchise rolled out in Myrtle Beach, bringing a Myrtle Beach Striper to business and to property owners at an affordable way to restore commercial and industrial parking lots – as well as plenty of other paved areas.
We informed Ms. Scaife about the numerous strip clubs in the Myrtle Beach region and expressed our interest in creating an article that humorously plays on the Striper/Stripper theme. She subsequently replied.
As in her PR Press Release, we reported the business was founded more than 25 years ago on the belief that businesses don’t need to spend a fortune on parking lot repairs and maintenance to make a good impression. Often, a fresh set of lines is all that’s needed. The Myrtle Beach Striper company is local.
Earlier today, we got an email from Julia Menear asking for the article to be removed. I personally phoned her to discuss our communication with Ms. Scaife.
Minear stated that Scaife did not work for the business.
We explained that Scaife reached out to us with this PR Business Press Release wanting us to publish the article. We practically published the article verbatim as was in the release.
We note that Luke Menear, the company’s founder, has the same last name as Julia.
