As MyrtleBeachSC News livestreamed today, U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace came out swinging in her announcement of a bid for S.C. Governor.
Nancy Mace made no bones about going after legacy media. Shortly after her announcement legacy media fired back as can be seen below.
Mace actually had solid ideas about reform. As one of the most active U.S. Congress persons in the House for writing legislation, Mace laid out a concrete plan for fixing S.C. schools and needed infrastructure for South Carolina.
Sadly, the role of the S.C. Governor is largely ceremonial at this time. MyrtleBeachSC News asked Nancy Mace how we could tilt the power away from the General Assembly and back to having three co-equal branches of government with the Executive (Governor), the Judiciary, and the General Assembly.
Nancy Mace told our news team she would use the bully pulpit to champion reform on behalf of S.C. residents.
Nancy Mace also said she would “hold the line” on woke bathroom policies and other woke policies.
Mace, at times, appeared to be running for the office of S.C. Attorney General. She spoke of current Attorney General Alan Wilson’s failures in reducing the sentence of a pedophile to just a few days. She also spoke of her disappointment of Wilson in his handling of the high profile Scott Spivey death just a few years past in Horry County.
She appears in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday for her “Mother of All Town Halls”. MyrtleBeachSC.com will be covering that event.
