New Yorkers flee city

Coronavirus deaths continue to climb in New York City, which is quickly becoming one of the worst-hit places on earth.

Yesterday, 88 more people in the city died from COVID-19 — nearly doubling the previous day’s death count.

In response, many New Yorkers are choosing to flee the city in lieu of other destinations. In effect, New York City residents are quarantining through vacation.

Flights as low as $38 are currently available from N.Y. to Myrtle Beach.

Other destinations are requiring tourists from N.Y. to quarantine for 14 days.
