The City is preparing an array of exciting events that promise to delight and will create lasting memories for all attendees. Park of Honor
From Saturday, June 28 through Sunday, July 13, the Rotary Club of North Myrtle Beach will have flags on display at McLean Park to honor veterans, active duty, retired, fallen military, or first responders. The Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 10 AM at McLean Park.
To honor an individual of your choosing, contact the North Myrtle Beach Rotary Club at 843-455-6850. Flags are $100 each, and their name, service branch, and rank will be included.

All City Choir July 4th Cantata
Immerse yourself in the spirit of the July 4th festivities with friends and family.
The North Myrtle Beach All City Choir presents the July 4th Cantata, “In God We Still Trust.” This free event will be held on Saturday, June 28 at 3:30 PM and on Sunday, June 29 at 3:30 PM at Living Water Baptist Church in Longs. While this is a free event, tickets are required. Tickets can be picked up at City Hall or J. Bryan Floyd Community Center.

Salute to America March and Salute from the Shore Flyover
Salute to America is a march organized by the American Legion Post 186 that honors all current and former military members, as well as the United States of America. The march will begin at 11 AM and music at the Horseshoe will begin at 1 PM.

Experience the joy of the July 4th festivities with us this Independence Day!
Salute from the Shore is a unique opportunity for individuals to salute and honor our Armed Forces while celebrating Independence Day on South Carolina beaches.
At 1 PM, F-16s from Shaw Air Force Base will make their way down the coastline, beginning at Cherry Grove in North Myrtle Beach and ending in the Beaufort/Bluffton area in the Lowcountry. Following the active military aircraft will be an all-volunteer brigade of Warbirds, a civilian-owned and flown vintage plane community that will include T-34s, T-6s, and T-28s.

Join the Excitement of July 4th Festivities
The City of North Myrtle Beach will host a free Fourth of July Fireworks Show at the Cherry Grove Pier. This event is scheduled from 9:30 PM through 10 PM on July 4, 2025.
For anyone planning to enjoy the free, professional fireworks show, please be aware of the following information:
- Show starts at 9:30 PM and ends at 10 PM.
- Operating a golf cart is limited to sunrise to sunset.
- The sale, possession, or use of fireworks in the city limits of North Myrtle Beach is prohibited. The Cherry Grove Pier fireworks display is a permitted professional event.
- During the Fireworks Show, the 3500 block of North Ocean Boulevard (area where Cherry Grove Pier is located) will be closed – This includes the Cherry Grove Pier.
- A small portion of the beachfront directly adjacent to the Cherry Grove Pier may be closed off by Police and Fire personnel starting at 7 PM until show’s completion, dependent on weather and tidal conditions present.
- Please check the tide chart and plan accordingly for those planning to watch from the shore.
- Parking is not allowed in the median on Ocean Boulevard.
Following the Fireworks Show, the North Myrtle Beach Police Department will initiate a reverse traffic pattern in Cherry Grove to accommodate the large number of vehicles leaving the Cherry Grove area. During the traffic reversal, the following will occur:
- Ocean Boulevard traffic will move northbound and southbound only (do NOT turn onto Sea Mountain Highway).
- Drivers will access Highway 17 North via 11th Avenue North.
- All southbound traffic on Nixon Street and Duffy Street will make a right-hand turn onto Sea Mountain Highway.
- All eastbound traffic on Sea Mountain Highway will turn right at Duffy Street and proceed to Ocean Boulevard via 22nd Avenue North.
- Once the Fireworks Show traffic has exited the Cherry Grove area, the North Myrtle Beach Police Department will resume normal traffic patterns.
Please be patient and exercise caution entering and exiting the Cherry Grove area prior to, during, and immediately following the Fourth of July Fireworks Show.
