One Hurt In Downtown Myrtle Beach Shooting

Myrtle Beach police are investigating two shootings that took place between Benjamins Calabash Seafood and Ole Shillelagh Sports Bar 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

MCpl. Tom Vest with the Myrtle Beach Police Department said that one person was hurt in the shooting but they’re expected to be OK.

According to a police report, officers were called to a report of shots fired just after 2 a.m. at Ole Shillelagh Sports and Raw Bar on South Kings Highway.

Upon arrival, police noted a second shooting that took place in the parking lot of Captain Benjamins.

The two businesses are adjacent to one another running south on 401 S Kings Hwy. The south end of downtown Myrtle Beach is known for its high crime activity.

No arrests have been made as of this publish date.
