Ken Richardson is running for 7th District U.S. Congress.

Richardson says current gas prices are a tax on retired people, families, and poor Americans. He pledges to work with other like-minded conservatives to get American gas back into the pipeline and into production if elected.

Conservatives are expected to sweep both the U.S. Congress and U.S. Senate in the coming mid term elections.

News reports today from Fox Business state: Gas prices will surpass $6 nationwide by August, JPMorgan says. Inflated gas prices affect everything from grocery store purchases to agricultural farm production costs.

Says Richardson, “When elected to congress to represent the 7th district, I will work with my fellow congressman to remove the pen from Joe Biden, the same pen he used to move us backwards on oil dependence.

Richardson adds, “The price of gas today is absolutely a tax on average Americans and the price of diesel fuel is being passed on to consumers. Truckers have no choice but to raise freight prices.

Richardson is not the only local candidate concerned about rising fuel costs.

John Cassidy is running for S.C. House of Representatives District 61. This district encompasses Forestbrook west into Conway, S.C.

Cassidy told MyrtleBeachSC News, “The increasing gas prices is a tax on my district, county and state.  It absolutely ticks me off.  When elected, I will work relentlessly on a federal level to get the oil flowing back in our country.

During his first hours in the Oval Office, President Biden issued Executive Order 13990, entitled “Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis.” Section 6 of the Order revoked TransCanada Keystone Pipeline, L.P.’s March 2019 permit to construct and operate cross-border pipeline facilities at the U.S.-Canada border in Montana. March 2021, however, Attorneys General from 21 states filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of Texas against President Biden and several Cabinet members alleging that the President’s Order violates the U.S. Constitution.

Red Wave
Red Wave anticipated in Mid-Terms can flip Senate and Congress.

An anticipated RED WAVE of true conservatives would flip the legislative branch entirely. If this happens, laws can be written to circumvent Biden’s executive order.
