NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Parking Registration for North Myrtle Beach Residents and Non-Resident Property Owners is now open.
The City’s paid parking season begins March 1, 2025, and ends October 31, 2025.
North Myrtle Beach Residents and Non-Resident Property Owners may register online or in person at 904 2nd Avenue North (the old Santee Cooper building). The Parking Registration Office is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM. To register online, visit our Parking Registration website here.
Paid parking will be enforced via license plate recognition. Your vehicle license plate will be your digital permit. Vehicle parking passes must be renewed each year. Physical decals will only be issued for golf carts.
Golf cart registrations will continue to require a decal to be placed on the front windshield next to the SCDMV sticker. Golf carts without a windshield will require a decal to be adhered to the front of the cart next to the SCDMV sticker.
Residents – To complete your parking registration, you will need the following:
Parking Registration Process for Residents and Non-Resident Property Owners
- Driver’s License with North Myrtle Beach Residential Address
- Current (not expired) Vehicle or Golf Cart Registration with same Residential Address
- NEW Golf Cart Registrations will be in-person at the Parking Office where you will receive a Permanent Decal
- Golf Cart Registration RENEWALS will need the SCDMV Registration Number and City of North Myrtle Beach Decal Number
Non-Resident Property Owners – To complete your registration, you will need the following:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current (not expired) Vehicle Registration (ANY STATE) or Golf Cart Registration (must be registered with SCDMV at their North Myrtle Beach property address)
- Proof of North Myrtle Beach Property Ownership (City Staff can locate the Horry County paid property tax receipt online at the Parking Office)
