Questions are still murky surrounding the motives of what has been ruled the FBI investigation of Mica Miller’s Suicide. It turns out Miller’s Lawyer is a registered agent for another “church”.
For those who are not following this story, Mica Miller was found dead at Lumber River State Park on April 27th. The Robeson County Sherriff’s office stated she died of an apparent suicide.
The FBI has since gotten involved, and our MyrtleBeachSC News team has learned that J.P. Miller and his attorney Tom Winslow are persons of interest in the probe.
We reported yesterday, that Mica Miller’s medical legal filings were not properly notarized by law.
Today, we can report that Tom Winslow’s LLC is the registered agent for another church named “Church of the Redeemer of the Strand.”
MyrtleBeachSC News reached out to Attorney Winslow to determined who sat on the board of the “Not for Profit”. “Not for Profits” are not owned, but rather, have a board of directors.
We were attempting to determine if Pastor J.P. Miller was on the “Church of the Redeemer of the Strand” board.
Our Text to Attorney Winslow

Originally Senator Stephen Goldfinch and Attorney Winslow were both registered agents. Winslow bought Goldfinch out of his half of the law firm several years back. The below states the Notice of Change of Registered Office at that time.

Attorney Winslow did reach out to us, but hung up when he realized we were calling. After not hearing back from Winslow, we reached out to the IRS website and determined the business was not listed on their site.

IS THIS A CHURCH OR A SHELL CORPORATION?
According to Idenfy: Shell companies, also known as ghost companies, have a notorious label attached to them. That’s because they’re often used for illicit purposes, especially for money laundering schemes.
Why this matters is because the FBI is looking at the bank records of those involved in this supposed suicide. Determining how monies have been moved could go to the motive as to why Mica is dead, was quickly cremated, and a legal threat letter was sent out in an attempt to keep this matter silenced.
Trying to determine if “Church of the Redeemer of the Strand” is a shell company or a legitimate church is much like chasing ghosts.
There is nothing online about the church registered by Miller’s Lawyer as operating in Horry County. Who did Winslow register this for?
Senator Goldfinch and Winslow – a nasty split
When Winslow purchased Goldfinch’s half of the law practice, locals called the move a nasty split. The two were very happy to separate at the time.
We are still working to determine how much Winslow paid Senator Goldfinch for his half of the practice. Numbers are flying in from multiple sources, yet we have nothing in writing to report.
According to the Statement of Economic Interests or SEI reports, the required reporting for all elected officials, through 2021, Senator Goldfinch was an OWNER of Goldfinch Winslow Holdings LLC and Goldfinch Winslow LLC. His private income from these sources is categorized as a ‘draw’ from these LLCs that he “owns.”
Beginning with the 2023 SEI report which captured 2022 income, his private income changed to Steven Goldfinch Attorney at Law and Trilogy Outdoors; this was also consistent for the senator’s 2023 reporting. Trilogy Outdoors is a marketing firm.
Goldfinch serves in the National Guard. Winslow is in the “State Guard”. These are in no ways similar.
When reconciling the SEI reports with the Secretary of State filings, the following documents: Members Statement of Dissociation and Amended Articles of Organization filed in December 2021 for Goldfinch Winslow LLC and for Goldfinch Winslow Holdings LLC.
This modification left Miller’s Lawyer as the sole registered agent for both of businesses, effectively removing Senator Goldfinch in a business transaction that was not recorded publicly.
Senator Goldfinch is also an officer in the JAG
REMOTE LOCATION – NO CELL SERVICE
We reported yesterday about Attorney Winslow’s endorsement of Artificial Intelligence. Could deep fake voice artificial intelligence have been used to make Mica’s call?
At 2:54 p.m. Mica supposedly makes a call from the Lumber River State Park parking lot.
However, Kyler Marlowe reports below that there is no cell service.
Miller is calm throughout the call, asking a dispatcher if her phone can be tracked. The operator asks for Miller’s phone number and location, and then why she was calling.
“I’m about to kill myself, and I just want my family to know where to find me,” she replies.
I have been unfortunate enough to be in the room when a suicide call was made by a now departed good friend. Thankfully, he did not commit suicide that day. However, he was not calm. He was very emotional, crying and proclaiming “he couldn’t take it [doing life] any longer.”
According to the FBI website: While there may be similarities between investigative interviews of and calls made by suspects, there is still an important distinction in that many types of 911 suicide calls most often involve raw, uninhibited emotions from callers.
The lack of emotion in the call made by Mica in an area with no cell service simply doesn’t make sense. If you believe JP Miller, Mica was a highly emotional person who needed medication at the time of her “suicide”.
Was deep fake AI Voice involved?

This follow up is bizarre as well
The follow up from JP Miller doesn’t add up either. Who talks to his wife’s family this way to report her death?

The fact that Miller’s Lawyer owns the land that is backed up to where Mica’s body was found is just another odd note. This, coupled with how quickly Miller wanted Mica’s body cremated, means there is simply a lot of smoke here.
In the end, this matter will likely come down to bank records as a key narrative of the big picture in Mica’s death.
