The resolution to endorse the removal of Randy Webster’s name from the $24 million Horry County Emergency Management building was approved by the Horry County Infrastructure and Regulation Committee.
Horry County Councilman Al Allen chairs the committee. Multiple Horry County Councilmen sit on the committee, including Chairman Johnny Gardner, as can be seen in the bottom image below.
Raj Myana, David Gilbreath, Shannon Todd, Adam Boyles, Horry County Administrator Barry Spivey, Stevie Brown and Ryan Betcher presented today at the Horry County Infrastructure and Regulation Committee.
Authorities of the committee stated that this was carried out without any discussion; however, it will need to be presented to the entire council for a vote before any measures can be implemented.
The name removal can only be explained as an admission of guilt.

$57 million annually is spent by Horry County taxpayers above and beyond what is spent on the Horry County Sheriff’s office.
State leaders believe HCPD should be managed by the Sheriff’s office as done in all other 45 counties.
Regardless of whether the Randy S Webster name removal put this issue to bed or not, it is certainly a win Johnny McCoy and his female clients.
