CHARLESTON, S.C. โ September 4, 2024 โ Aquarium Aglow is back and brighter than ever! On select evenings this NovemberโDecember, the South Carolina Aquarium will open its doors once again for a dazzling light spectacular.
New this year, the South Carolina Aquarium is offering early bird pricing. All Aglow tickets purchased now through October 31 will automatically receive 15% off at checkout.
Aglow is a festive light display and celebration held at the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, SC. This event presents:
- Lights: Tens of thousands of lights in a variety of installations

- Scuba Claus: Scuba Claus dives into the Great Ocean Tank to wave at visitors
Aquarium Aglow
Aglow is a sensory experience for the whole family. Tickets are sold separately from general admission tickets. For the 2024 event, early-bird ticket pricing is available, with 15% off for tickets purchased between September 3 and October 31. Aquarium members receive 20% off tickets regardless of when they purchase them.
Aquarium Aglow presents remarkable light installations, accompanied by captivating photo opportunities and an extraordinary Santa experience in Charleston. Meet Scuba Claus, adorned in his iconic red outfit and white beard, as he dives into the Great Ocean Tank. Don’t miss the chance to wave to Scuba Claus nightly!
Food and beverages, which include a variety of alcoholic drinks, will be offered for sale.
Aquarium Aglow opens to the public on Thursday, November 21, and runs 5:30โ9 p.m. on select dates through the end of the year.
Aquarium Aglow tickets are sold separately from general admission tickets. Early bird pricing of 15% off will apply automatically upon checkout through October 31. Aquarium members receive 20% off listed prices, regardless of purchase date.

are 9 a.m.โ4 p.m., with the last entry at 2:30 p.m. The Aquarium is open seven days a week
with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, December 25 and a half day on December 24 (open 9
