SCDOT: Bypass 17 Market Common single lane traffic will occur southbound tonight

Per SCDOT Market Common single lane traffic will occur southbound starting tonight at 10 p.m.

Columbia, S.C. (July 15, 2024) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will implement a single lane closure on the outside lane of US 17 Bypass at the Publics entrance of Market Common, Southbound for utility relocation beginning tonight.

The utility relocation is part of the Fred Nash Boulevard Widening Project.

The closure is set to begin at 10 p.m. and is expected to be complete by 3 a.m. on Tuesday. Two travel lanes will remain open during the relocation.  A map of the closure can be found below.
