Shannon Grady is an Horry County resident who lives in Forestbrook. She has decided to run for the Forestbrook to Conway District 8 Horry County Council seat currently occupied by Johnny Vaught.

Vaught is running for County Council Chairman.

Last night, Grady addressed voters at the American Conservative Voices forum. She was well received with ongoing applause for her many popular stances locals can relate to.

She wants to address flooding issues, local road congestion, and she believes I-73 funding should not supersede paying for our local roads.

A proven leader, Grady is the head of the Horry County Republican Women’s Club. Grady, and her team, quickly grew this organization into one of the largest conservative groups on the coast.

Grady has a legacy of working with and through like minded teams. Grady is a conservative, consensus builder.

You can hear her firebrand delivery that kept the group of attendants applauding above.

Grady is one of four females running for Horry County Council this cycle. The primary will be held on June 14th.

Grady is running against Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce supported candidates Brandon Skipper and Michael Masciarelli.

Of all the candidates running this election, Grady will have the ground game support and the organizational skills to challenge these two MBACC insiders.

Grady’s campaign is managed by Gerri McDaniel. McDaniel was a key player in S.C. supporting Donald Trump’s initial run for President.
