There have been warrants issued for a Solid Rock Church member caught on video spraying protestors outside Solid Rock Church with a pressurized sprinkler last week.

Robert Wayne Lochel, 67, is charged with five counts of third-degree assault and battery for the incident, which was recorded and uploaded online.

A cell phone recording of the incident matches a description of the suspect’s shirt in an incident report completed June 30.

Around 2 p.m., a Myrtle Beach Police officer arrived at the 803 Howard Ave. church where a group of people were protesting peacefully on the sidewalk when an older white male wearing a teal shirt came out of the church’s side door and picked up a pressurized sprinkler, spraying victims 1-5 intentionally.

It is believed that the man confessed to his actions as a result of frustration from his wife. Police have issued a warrant for third-degree assault, and other suspects are being sought.

A barricade was set up outside Solid Rock Church on Sunday. Protestors have gathered outside the church for weeks in protest of Mica Miller’s death. Authorities say Mica Miller, 30, killed herself at Lumber River State Park in April.

Solid Rock’s founder and senior pastor is her husband John-Paul.

The Power of Surrender: How Letting the Holy Spirit Guide You Defines True Christianity

Are you tired of trying to navigate through life’s challenges on your own? Have you ever wondered what it truly means to be a Christian and how surrendering to the Holy Spirit can transform your faith journey?

Introduction: Explaining the concept of surrender and its importance in Christianity

Are you ready to tap into the divine power that can shape your life in ways you never imagined? Imagine a force so pure and loving, guiding every step you take. Welcome to the transformative journey of surrendering to the Holy Spirit.

What is Surrender? Defining the act of surrendering to the Holy Spirit

Surrender is not about giving up or losing control; it’s about trusting in something greater than ourselves. When we surrender to the Holy Spirit, we let go of our own desires and allow God’s will to guide us. It’s a conscious choice to release our grip on the steering wheel of life and instead invite divine guidance into every aspect of our being.

By surrendering, we acknowledge that we don’t have all the answers and that there is wisdom beyond our understanding. It requires humility and faith to submit ourselves to a higher power, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us. Surrendering is an act of courage, as it means stepping into the unknown with open arms and an open heart.

When we embrace surrender, we free ourselves from the burden of trying to control everything and instead find peace in knowing that we are being led by a loving force greater than ourselves. It’s a transformative process that invites grace, love, and miracles into our lives like never before.

Surrendering in the Bible: Examining biblical examples of surrender and their significance

In the Bible, we find numerous examples of individuals who demonstrated surrender to God. One such example is Abraham, who willingly obeyed God’s command to sacrifice his son Isaac, showing profound trust and surrender in God’s plan.

Another powerful instance is that of Mary, mother of Jesus, who humbly accepted the role assigned to her by the angel Gabriel despite any doubts or fears she may have had.

The story of Job showcases unwavering faith and surrender in the face of immense suffering and loss. His willingness to submit to God’s will even amidst trials sets a remarkable standard for surrender. This Solid Rock Church member could learn a lot from Job’s example.

Ultimately, these biblical examples illustrate how surrendering to God involves letting go of our own desires and trusting in His divine wisdom and guidance. It requires humility, faith, and an unwavering belief that He knows what is best for us.

The Role of the Holy Spirit: Understanding how the Holy Spirit guides us in our surrender

The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in guiding believers on their journey of surrender. It serves as a divine compass, leading us towards the path of righteousness and truth. Through its gentle whispers and nudges, we are reminded to release our grip on control and trust in God’s perfect plan.

As we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit, it illuminates the areas in our lives that need surrendering. Its presence brings clarity amidst confusion, peace amidst chaos. By aligning ourselves with its guidance, we find solace in knowing that we are not alone in this spiritual walk.

Surrendering to the Holy Spirit is an ongoing process of relinquishing our will for God’s greater purpose. It requires humility, faith, and a willingness to let go of self-reliance. In embracing its influence, we allow room for miracles to unfold and transformation to take place within us.

Ultimately, by yielding to the Holy Spirit’s leadings, we invite divine wisdom and grace into every aspect of our lives.

Surrender vs Control: Comparing surrender to trying to control our own lives

Have you ever felt like you were carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, trying to control every aspect of your life? It’s a common struggle many face – the constant need for control. We think that by gripping tightly onto our plans and desires, we can ensure everything goes just as we want it to.

But here’s the thing about control – it’s often an illusion. No matter how hard we try, there are countless variables beyond our grasp. Surrender, on the other hand, is about letting go of this need for complete mastery and trusting in something greater than ourselves.

When we surrender to the Holy Spirit, we acknowledge that there is a divine plan at work far beyond what our limited human minds can comprehend. It’s not about giving up or being passive; it’s about aligning ourselves with God’s will and allowing Him to lead us down the path He has laid out.

In surrendering, we find freedom from anxiety and stress. Instead of constantly battling against the currents of life, we learn to flow with them, knowing that ultimately God is in control. So let go of your need to micromanage every detail and embrace true peace through surrendering to the guiding light of the Holy Spirit.

Benefits of Surrender: Discussing the positive impact of dying to self

By letting go of control and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us, we open ourselves up to a deeper relationship with God. This surrender brings peace, joy, and a sense of purpose that goes beyond our understanding.

Through surrender, we find freedom from anxiety and fear as we trust in God’s plan for us. We experience greater clarity and direction as we align our will with His. Surrender allows us to let go of burdens and receive strength from the One who knows us intimately.

Ultimately, embracing surrender leads to a life filled with love, hope, and fulfillment in Christ. It is through yielding to the Holy Spirit that true Christianity is defined – not by striving or controlling outcomes but by resting in God’s grace and walking in faith each day. May we all strive to surrender more fully to the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
