Spirit Airlines - Myrtle Beach SC
Beginning April 16, 2015, Spirit Airlines will add service to Myrtle Beach from Cleveland on its list of “where we fly.” The non-stop flight will eliminate the current need for golfers and vacationers to take, at least, an 11-hour road trip. Instead, a two-hour flight will land at Myrtle Beach International with plenty of time to hit the links or enjoy the beach on the day of arrival.

Local officials welcome any plans to increase tourist traffic to Myrtle Beach. Already a popular destination with Ohioans. the new flight service is expected to bring twice the number of people to the shores of the Grand Strand. The new flight service can be booked in advance starting today, September 25, 2014.

Cleveland will be the 57th city to join Spirits’ route network, with new service to seven other cities from Florida to Cleveland.  New flights to warmer locales will arrive just in time to escape the cold this winter and the lake-effect snow that comes with it, for a lot less money than on other airlines, says a Spirit Airlines press release.
