Surfside Beach City Councilman Randle Stevens publicly endorsed two candidates currently running for City Council. Stevens told MyrtleBeachSC.com that he supports both Tim Courtney and Cabell Young in the upcoming Surfside Beach election. The vote will be held this coming Tuesday, April 3rd.

Courtney is a retired police officer. Surfside Beach is rated the 3rd safest town in South Carolina.
Young is a 22 year highly regarded resident of Surfside Beach. Young is running on a platform promise to keep Surfside Beach taxes low. His platform also stresses safe and clean beaches. Surfside Beach is one of the most family friendly beaches on the East Coast of America. Young believes the small town feel of the town makes it special.
