Plants
Plants and trees can liven up any garden. Say you have a long garden that is merely grass, why not plant a tree, or create some plant borders, or even think about a few planters. A garden trellis can really liven up the garden, no matter how small. You could set it against a wall and plant a climbing plant that will cover the trellis. You can even get trellises for potted plants if you are stuck with a patioed area. They look great and can cover up anything unsightly that you would rather not see every day, like a brick wall.
Customize with Features
A garden can be absolutely anything you want it to be. It can be a place for meditation and a place for entertaining, something to take you away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Luckily there are a lot of unique garden features you can buy or even make yourself if you are so inclined. Think about the feel you want your garden to have and go from there. How about s water feature, or a statue, or some standing wind chimes. You could get some salvaged metal and create your own sculptures. It can be as abstract or as standard as you wish. Gardens are great places for a little experimentation and fun.
