NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Over the weekend, Todd Hilliard, who was vacationing in North Myrtle Beach, passed away after a medical emergency in the ocean waters of North Myrtle Beach.

Tragic Incident Involving Todd Hilliard

On Friday afternoon, Hilliard, 63, from Kernersville, North Carolina, was rescued from the water close to 36th Avenue South, according to Michelle McSpadden, Deputy Coroner of Horry County.

McSpadden stated that Hilliard experienced a sudden medical incident leading to loss of consciousness while in the water.

Hilliard passed away the following day at a hospital close by.
